Chanel Symbols Flap Bag

A couple of weeks ago, I read an interesting article about Abercrombie & Fitch, the headline started: Abercrombie & Fitch dropping logos from clothes.

Now, I do not know about clothes, but I’d do know that the ‘CC’ signature looks damn good on Chanel. Even if they craft the CHANEL logo on it, I still find it as yummie as the freshest macaroon from Laduree.

Let me take you back to 22 May 2014, on that day we wrote a review with Lolli. Lolli just bought a brand-new Chanel bag and it was from the Spring Summer 2014 Collection. She took this bag as an alternative because Selfridge didn’t had the Chanel CC Crave Flap Bag.

Her bag was named: the ‘Chanel Metallic Symbols Flap Bag’ and it was wildly printed with Chanel perfume bottles, Camellia and CC’s all over the body. Gorgeous!

Now let us introduced you something different, we think you might love it. It’s the Chanel (Metallic) Symbols Flap Bag with structured CC’s on the left, CHANEL logo on the right and the bottom, a sophisticated love.

It’s featured with a CC closure and interwoven chain links, the same you expect from the medium Classic Flap Bag. From as far as we know, it’s available in red and black.

Now, we do not know its style code, but we can send you some other information. First it’s available at Selfridges, secondly the size and price should be: 25 x 12 x 5.

Céline Summer 2016 Small Trotteur Collection

She’s a beauty, this one. This small, beautifully-grained little number that while doesn’t hold as much as she should, is just a joy to have. And to hold. Yes, I’m talking about the the Small Trotteur bags from Céline’s Summer 2016 collection that are already available in Singapore.

Besides the fact that they come in the leather that I love, the colours they come in this season have hit the colour jackpot as far as I’m concerned. Seriously, people, look at the one in Light Forest that’s shown above, which contrasts ever so beautifully against that slightly-aged gold-tone hardware clasp. Love, no?

And then’s there the one in Jade, that’s even more, as they say, more sublime than the former.

Last but not least, presenting the Small Trotteur in Carnelian, a beautiful hue of sun-kissed orange that makes me just want to lick my screen now. Priced at SGD2400 in Singapore, you’ll find them in Céline boutiques in Marina Bay Sands or Ngee Ann City, and if the Small is too tiny and the Large is too big, I hear the Medium is a) making a comeback to the shelves or b) is a new size that’s going to be released soon.

Either way, I’m still loving the smallest size the most, which I can even imagine myself using slung across the body with the barest of essentials for those carefree, casual days. Yes, that’s what I always tell myself when I’m buying small, tiny bags. And it usually works. Now excuse me while I go wipe my drool off the screen.
